Connie is an adventurer, businesswoman and philanthropist. Connie serves as co-owner of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, Wyoming, in the Jackson Hole valley. She has jointly owned the resort with her siblings, Jay and Betty, since 1992. Their family connection to Wyoming dates to the late nineteenth century when their great-grandfather, Mahlon Kemmerer, founded the Kemmerer Coal Company. Kemmerer, Wyoming, which started as a company town for the mines/mining enterprise is also the home of/to the first J. C. Penney store. Connie’s other passion is healthcare. She founded the Teton Wellness Institute and Festival in 2003. The Institute, in collaboration with St John’s, started the CHI (Community Health Information) Center in which today has expanded into the robust Wellness Department which will soon be expanding into the Wellness Corridor off the lobby of the Medical Center.
Connie has served as a Director of St. John’s Hospital Foundation since 2014.
